The Advisory System is among Rosevilles' most effective tools for personal development. It is the place where the objectives of light, truth and virtue are customized.

 

The advisor helps the advisee achieve all of the educational objectives, but she focuses mostly on teaching her virtue.  As the advisor teaches informally through her conversations with the advisee, the classroom teacher teaches formally in the classroom. 

 

The advisor purposefully asks parents of the advisee for assistance. Actually, her work is predicated on the idea that the parents should be the primary source of light, truth and virtue.
